Challenge
OEM finish, aftermarket constraints
Segula needed the Ford F-150 converted from left-hand to right-hand drive without it reading as a conversion. That meant working inside strict engineering requirements, carried-over components and cost targets, while still meeting Ford's own production surface quality and local road standards.
A-Class surfacing under someone else's brand standard
Gomotiv, our automotive studio, re-sculpted the interior trim panels and A-Class surfaces needed for the conversion, reducing complexity in the assembly process while blending the result into Ford's existing design language rather than working around it.
Outcome
The converted F-150 meets Ford's production surface quality and local road standards, with trim and surfacing that reads as OEM rather than aftermarket.
Technical Insights:
Automotive design and digital surfacing (Capability)
A-Class surface re-sculpting of interior trim panels to Ford production standards
Program and client collaboration (Collaboration)
Engineering activities coordinated directly with Segula to meet carry-over, cost and local compliance requirements.
